SPOTTER`S DAY

 

 

During the NATO Tiger Meet 2025 (NTM25), two days will be dedicated to Spotters, on the 24 September and 01 of October 2025. These days are aimed at all photography lovers and military aviation enthusiasts aged 18 and over.
Participation requires registration and has a cost of 70€.

REGULATIONS

Registrations are limited to 100 participants per day and will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, according to the chronological order of email reception.
To register, you must correctly fill out this accreditation form.
Registrations for September 24th  open at 10:00 AM on 21 August and close at 08:00 PM on 03 September, or once the available slots for each day are filled.

Registrations for October 01th will open as soon as registration for September 24th is complete.

The final list will be published on 04 September. Registrations will be officially confirmed once they are published on this page.

The participation fee for Spotter’s Day includes a Spotter Kit, which must be paid upon entry to Air Base No. 11 in Beja. Please note that it will not be possible to use ATMs, credit/debit cards, or any other electronic payment systems.

SPOTTER KIT:

Backpack, Patch, Remove Before Flight Tag, Lanyard, T-Shirt, Water Bottle 1.5L, Energy Bar.

Activities will follow a designated route and will be accompanied by Public Affairs Officers who will guide and oversee the entire process.

Wearing a reflective vest is mandatory.

Given that participants may walk several kilometers during the event, please take note of the following needs:

  • Comfortable and suitable footwear;
  • Hydration;
  • Sunscreen.


Please also be aware of the following restrictions:

  • The use of caps without clips is prohibited;
  • Chairs, stools, and umbrellas (for rain or sun) are not allowed;
  • Pets are not allowed.

During the event, participants will have access to food and beverage services (food trucks). Any costs related to the purchase of food, drinks, or other goods and services are the responsibility of the participants.

For operational reasons, the Portuguese Air Force may need to alter or cancel the planned NTM25 activities, in whole or in part, without any liability.

The Portuguese Air Force reserves the right to take photographs of the event and its participants, who waive any financial or other compensation, with both parties acknowledging that such publications, editions, and others serve solely cultural, promotional, and social interests.

Participation in the event implies full acceptance and compliance with the rules described above, as well as respect for military principles, values, and decorum. Failure to observe or comply with these rules will result in the immediate termination of the spotter’s participation in the event, without any form of compensation or indemnity, under any circumstances, and may be subject to civil or criminal liability.
